Switch it to life to make more color sense over all.
Actually, this is just as bad color-wise. Hybrid cards need to make sense in either color. White can tap, black can put -1/-1 counters on things, but usually, neither can do both. This was, of course, violated in the Scars of Mirrodin block, since Phyrexians of all colors bled a bit toward black. See Choking Fumes.
White gets to tap down creatures (though not as well as blue) black certainly gets to put -1/-1 on things.
It's probably fine, the times that a -1/-1 won't actually kill the thing, it's either not gonna matter (because you intend to convert it to something else) or you're gonna be annoyed that it's tapped 'cause you wanna get into combat with it to finish it off.
I made it make more color sense but I wonder if it should cost 1 more.
Ooh, feel free to delete one of my comments. I don't know how I made two.
Worse than Raging Goblin. Though that's okay for Limited.
Making white evil is more difficult. I still want the ability to interact with Torture effects.
Weakened it a little bit more by specifying type.
This isn't really a white card, and the flavor text is very, very
.
In reference to your Planeswalker's guide: I'm pretty sure that, story-wise, Planeswalkers are incapable of taking other beings with them when they planeswalk. This is why it mattered that Venser was trying to build a Plane-ship.
I don't know what it was when Alex commented, but now, it's generally better than War Falcon.

Added Lifelink to his ability because he did not feel mythic enough.
Was tired when I posted original, realized how terrible it was. Made it a bit stronger.
Seems somewhat worse than Courier Hawk. Or indeed Hovermyr. Is this meant to be 2/2?
Made the ability more "Black"
