Yes this is a reprint of the Future Sight card Blade of the Sixth Pride. It would have the same artwork and be in an extended frame a-la the Zendikar basic lands
Took your advice about lines 2 & 3. Yeah Legend rule has always been an issue. Good to have in the game but a nightmare ruleswise. Legend rule line does work and I'm sure something similar has been used before somewhere.
Could combine lines 2 and 3 into just "Vampires you control". I can see why you want the line about the legend rule, and I think it even might work in the rules, but it's pretty horrible aesthetically. Wizards have given up on trying to fix the legend rule, and I think sadly that's the right approach.
Each player actually works really well for the card concept.
I don't think that's going to cut it. Now, maybe you could go for "Each player loses life" - that could well be printable at or
trying to format this right as it is the hallmark card of the set - sharing name and all.
The trouble now is that, basically, this will do 16 damage for - I'll always run it alongside Draco.
How does this look now ? The damage target player takes is an omen of what is to come.
noted, thanks
Yeah. If you want a mythic tutor, it should look like Conflux (or Eye of Ugin).
Cool. That's more like a gold dragon legend now. Just one more very minor note, you can combine flying and haste onto one line, as Rorix Bladewing shows.
So what's wrong with Diabolic Tutor that it needs two extra paints, life loss, and a lack of secrecy about the card's identity?
I could understand, but allowing mono-white to get this? Sure the effect won't break anything anytime soon (Gerrard's Verdict in particular dwarfs it)...except a sense of respect for the color pie.
