Odd casting cost. It seems like it would be a rare situation where would matter over or . I suppose it's nice to have options, but the alternative cost already forced you to have blue mana... it should be pretty rare when paying to cast this spell meant the game...
The other sensible suggestion would be to split this into three cards, each covering two colours (or two cards, covering three each, might make even more sense).
Alex's knowledge is comprehensive; where I only know a very small fraction of the cards - which probably helps me remember them better :)
Ditching the trample and making it a bit less powerful would be a lot more interesting I think - the opponent would be more tempted to block (and lose a creature) and also more tempted to let it slide for now (and regret it later)
You may have spent the blue mana already on your turn, and it looks prety to me ;)

"Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to you and permanents you control. (Ever.)"
Next version...
Actually that looks better than I expected

How about going with it having them as abilities? There's no way to avoid having five lines of text; but I think you can limit it to that.
Cannonfoddertest
I know it's somewhat nonstandard; but it HAS been done before, in extremis - and this seems a pretty extremis situation.
Horrible, horrible wording, BUT can we work on this?
Oooh, haste is interesting. They're gonna really regret not having a nice cheap wall to drop on turn one :)
hit it with a shrinkray!
added discard
Yeah, thats true, it's too cheap, but I like it to be more usefull.
Uh.. yeah; really shouldn't be allowed to make opposing creature kamikaze. Or at least not that cheaply.
And it gives me more possibilities how to use it, for example getting rid of your HUGE trampler by blocking it with a tiny but usefull goat token :-)
Ah yes, that works too.
Oh; NICE reuse of an old card with a new meaning.

Right now it's just the idea, neither it's cost nor the stats and abilitys are final... But I thought of Rapacious One when I came up with this.
Thanks, I thought of this phrase when I first had the idea, and forgot it when I wrote the text...
Ooh, so it is. Yikes, Vitenka came up with the most accurate comparison, after I failed!
