Slightly better. Holy Day just prevents damage, this card is actually kinda 'combat tricks'. Play it at end of Opponent's turn, tap his creatures down, gain life and a clear path for your attackers = big game swing potential.
Also, not every rare can be totally awesome, though this has proved quite good in limited testing.
The triggered ability is odd. It means that if you cast it before combat, you'll get a double copy of the bonus as a oneoff. In later turns you'll never be able to match up to the bonus you got the turn you cast it, and I think that'll feel unsatisfying.

I have now got the entire skeleton entered as cards, all I have to do now is fill in the blanks
