Slightly better. Holy Day just prevents damage, this card is actually kinda 'combat tricks'. Play it at end of Opponent's turn, tap his creatures down, gain life and a clear path for your attackers = big game swing potential. Also, not every rare can be totally awesome, though this has proved quite good in limited testing.
