300 cards :))))
other clause on 2nd ability
2/4 --> 3/3
This card would be extra interesting if you play it on your own dude, forcing your opponent to consider whether they'd rather burn removal and attack OR keep removal, not attack, keep your guy out of play, prevent you from attacking with or or guys and avoid you re-gaining a battlecry.
Compare to Spell Swindle.
Shuts down most archetypes for a round, and can also shut down pirates for a round, depending on whose attacking your face
Compare to Essence Drain
aquatic noncreature spells don't exist in this set, because there are no tribal spells. Even if they were, it's a creature type batch word, so having hexproof on this is bad
That's how they did it with Ascend in RIX, though it does seem weird. Do you know why they did it that way?
I'll fix the body, thanks for the advice.
Why is there an armada keyword? Defining the ace fleet rules term alone would be entirely enough:
> When Dreaded Captain enters the battlefield, if you have an ace fleet, destroy target creature. (You have an ace fleet, if you control six or more creatures.)
I also feel at rare the body without ace fleet achieved should be closer to a creature that you would play by itself. Maybe use the freed space in the text box to add a keyword mechanic? Menace or deathtouch are options I could see.
Good to know. Thank you.
Yeah. At rare and mythic, you can get away without defining set mechanics, but you always need it at common and uncommon
Shuts down Roilmages and a few artifact cards.
Can be dealt with easily.
