very true. I didnt think about that particular issue, but I did consider this quite risky if it were to become assymetrical , but i assumed that was okay, because for the whole game's history ppl have abused symmetry. maybe this card just works too well for that
Oooh, ouchie. Used right; this is a one sided board-wipe that gets rid of land too. Very nasty.
Resetting cretaures and land is a thing to be very careful with; because it makes a game take much longer. The normal use of this is ok (My big creatures survive, they stomp you) but th desperation use "Whelp, about to lose - guess it's turn 1 again and we've got nothing we can cast" is a lot of no-fun-at-all.
Target player loses life equal to the power of target creature in the graveyard that died this turn is better than Target player loses life equal to the power of target creature that died this turn because it clarifies you cannot use it from a previous state, where it may have had counters or something. I decided on using power rather than toughness here, as it's a bit more black than toughness is green. i'd like to at some point design a green or blue or white toughness-matters card. would be fun
if this is too good for uncommon i can add an other clause, would make removal quite easy. I think some lord effects are fine at uncommon, maybe more suited for enchants or pump spells.
this also can be hard on you, so unless you build around it, it's mediocre. i think this is fine as a limited build around card
all these things justify it staying at this state
Nantuko Husk
fine compared to Managorger Hydra i think
