Yeah... Feels bad. Sphere of safety is probably just better.
You declare targets before you pay costs so it doesn't work that way. I don't want to put the sacrifice as part of the effect cuz weird things happen
I added artifacts for two reasons. It's pretty miserable to play against cruel reality/sheoldred effects in limited and adding an alternative in a set where there's more artifacts than usual may help it be less miserable. Also because flavorfully, curse of gold touch turns objects into gold too and makes them lose their function. Maybe it's a little too bent and I'll end up having to change it.
Yeah I overlooked where the untap clause should go. Maybe 2 mana could work. I just remember singing bell strike being really efficient at 2 mana but that's probably set dependent.
No, it's a total color pie break
Mm, black doesn't usually get to deal with artifacts. Admittedly, this only does so slowly, but it's a bit of a stretch.
I find the artifact part questionable.
It might seem a bit unclear whether you can copy the creature you just sacrificed. I'm pretty sure you can't, since targets are chosen before costs are paid, but it would be better if the design didn't make you question such things.
See Bitterheart Witch for wording.
Could this be
> ~ cost
less to cast for each Zombie on the battlefield and for each Zombie card in a graveyard.
ala Soulless One?
"Imp" is actually an official type in the game. I've personally questioned its existence though. For this card, if I decided to "retire" Imp as a creature type, I would consider "Devil" for it instead since that's much more prevalent in
cards-
It's a bleed for sure, but an interesting one at that. I would increase the cost by
.
It looks like you are looking for a Singing Bell Strike / Paralyze variant.
Note that at the moment on your card, only the Aura's controller can use the ability to untap the enchanted creature, which I'm assuming is a mistake.
I would suggest:
> Hypothermia
: Untap this creature."
> Enchantment
> Enchant creature
> Enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.
> Enchanted creature has "
Maybe go with a reprint of Sphere of Safety instead?
