No longer draws a bonus card when prepared (sifted) due to the change to the mechanic
Wording update: Prepared → sifted
Wording update: Prepared → sifted
I've been searching for a solution to Prepare, which was too similar to the canon foretell, and sift. For now, I've arrived at a new mechanic that fuses both.
Previously, we had:
Prepare
(
: Exile this card face-down. You may cast it on future turns for its prepare cost.)
Sift (You may reveal this card as you draw it to draw the next card of your library instead.) (Basically.)
Now, we have:
Sift
(
, Discard this card: You may play this card from your graveyard this turn or next turn for its sift cost. Draw a card.)
Removed haste.
Previously modal. First mode floated

.
First effect changed from "Target player sacrifices a creature. If they do, they draw 2 cards." Now allows choosing one or both. Cost increased from
{{B.
Previously cost
more and gave +1/+0.
Was meant to be a sorcery, not an instant.
Rare → uncommon. Shapeshifter → Illusion
