Blue-Touched Cards
A portion of all the colored cards at each rarity is devoted to cards that either 1) could be blue hybrid or 2) are or feel like they are colorshifted from blue.
• At common, there are 4 cards per color.
• At uncommon, there are 3 cards per color.
• At rare, there are 2 cards per color.
• 14 of these cards (roughly 40%) are creatures.
• There are no such cards at mythic.
• These cards can and will contribute to the other archetypes.

{c} Cards
There are a small number of {c} cards at each rarity, which like the colored blue-touched cards are each meant to be in some way reminiscent of blue.
• These will probably consist mainly of creatures and possibly enchantments that are "clinging" to their blue roots. Faeries and Merfolk are likely choices for creature types.
• Some of the blue-touched colored cards may have {c} activated abilities.

Deserts
• All non-basic lands in this set are Deserts — Actually, what if they're a new type called Rifts?
• All Deserts produce {c}

Limited Archetypes
Each color pairing will have a limited archetype. As is current practice with set design, these will have signpost uncommons.
"Allied colors" have dual lands associated with them, so their archetypes should be a bit better supported.
{w}{b}: Weenies, with a focus on coming back — Kiran Matron
{b}{r}: Non-combat damage + tokens
{r}{g}: Deserts + Desert Tokens — Blossoming Cactid
{g}{w}: Meditate — Suncrest Tranquility
"Enemy colors" have less dual land support.
{w}{r}: Prepare — Sandset Wanderer
{b}{g}: Aura — Plagues/sacrifice
With the increase in cards per color, focusing on one color may be more viable. Each lone color may have a small alternative focus or playstyle. Possibly each of these could also have a home in blue.
{w/u}: Tempo, or Tapped Creatures Matter Sunwall Invigorator
{b/u}: Colorless? — Scrolls of the Lost; Merfolk + Faeries go-wide, enabled by the Faceless — Noble Retinue
{u/r}: Mill— Psilomancer
{g/u}: Reminisce — Walker of the Circle
