Comica (better name pending) is a set inspired by superheroes and comic books from all eras.

Current state: Just imported from MSE. Right now, a lot of things aren't hooked up properly. Feel free to comment on the cards themselves!

On Inventor’s Goggles* (reply):

Seems like it will conflict a lot with the weapon tokens. I think your non token equipment want to be different.

On Elephant Person (reply):

This seems more uncommon than common. Could be trample but as a 8/7 or 7/8?

On Utropolis Skypatrol (reply):

This is going to be a very premium common

On Turtle Person (reply):

I think this could be a 1/5 or 1/6 considering Thriving turtle

If Elephant Person has no counters on it, or if you removed a counter from it this turn, Elephant Person has indestructible.

When Bonfire Flamekin enters the battlefield, add five mana in any combination of colors to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to activate the abilities of artifacts and creatures you control.

On Bonfire Flamekin:

It's for a subtheme (activated abilities) that admittedly isn't super well supported at the moment. The idea is that it would be useful for both an "abilities" deck and just a regular equipment deck. Definitely on the chopping block though, I'm already trying to fit too much stuff into this set.

On Afflicted Orc:

Flavor basically. The Afflicted are the counter group on this plane, and a literal Scorpion Demon doesn't really fit this plane.

It also gives me some more leeway to change it if I don't want an exact copy.

On Overwatch:

That was a playtesting change. This set has so many things that really want to be tapped that this card just became way too much value.

On Afflicted Orc:

Soulstinger is a good design to reprint, though why the change to orc?

On Bonfire Flamekin:

This seems out of place. Whats it supposed to support?

On Overwatch:

House Arrest Returns! The once each turn clause seems unnecessary.
