A low-magic plane where people live relatively modern lifestyles is reeling from anomalies caused by the Omenpaths. X-Files inspired plane.

I initially conceived Faxolm as a plane where many of the modern appearing characters in Duskmourn may have came from.
From Eventide
Birdseed means "child of bird" in this context.
I am unsure if I should use "that has a different type" or "with a different type." The intention is that if the first target is Birds of Paradise, which is normally just a creature, and then the second target could be Dryad Arbor because Dryad Arbor is land, even though both cards are creatures. This is intentional because it's already narrow and
three to two targets at instant is pretty good, but not exciting by today's standards at rare. Let it roll on wild board states.
I actually added sacrificing Mysteries to copy because I felt the card still should do a bit more at rare for a three mana instant.

Yes, the difference between life lost and life gained is intentional. It's to make the Alien feel both "alien" to Magic and that the alien intelligence is superior and can take more than what's given.
Considered naming it Shuryurang High School, but opted for a generic name should I want to use Mysteries more in the future.
Transforming enchantments in this set to come. Completing non-transforming cards first.
