Very cool flavor. Why is it restricted to creatures you control?

This is a weird though, but could it give +1/-1 instead? It's a bend obviously, but I think it would fit the flavor very well. Actually the most obvious issue with that would be that it would be so easy to miss that it grants +1/-1 instead of +1/+1. Maybe -1/-0 and double strike? You know, flailing around in panic. Hmm. Then I would also consider restricting it to tapped creatures and force blocking. Kind of starts to sound like a {r} card that makes sense since cards with this kind of flavor are quite often of that color.

I was just trying to come up with a name that fit the combat trick's flavor. In my head, I envisioned someone grabbing a weapon within reach after their eyes open wide from what figured would be some loud sound when I thought of the name.
