See Form of the Morphling.
Didn't think I could quite call this "Form of the" Sliver :)
Wording:
> ~'s power and toughness are each equal to your life total.
> You can't lose the game and your opponents can't win the game.
Huh. It's an interesting twist to tie the "you can't lose" condition into a body that's determined by your life total.
I'm pretty sure you can still be at negative life, yes? So an Oakenform on Eternity Sliver might save me, but only for 3 points of damage, yes?
Yeah, artificially pumping its toughness is equivalent to gaining life
That's the intent; that you become a sliver and benefit from all the toughness boosts a sliver gets (surely there are more appropriate ones than auras :)).
Although, indeed, that amount of gain is not very exciting life-total-wise, I wonder if there's a better way of doing it.
Ah. I couldn't figure out the intent of the flavor before. Now I get that this is supposed to benefit from things like Might Sliver.
If this were truly a sliver, shouldn't it have "Each sliver you control has power and toughness each equal to your life total?"
Huh. Good question. I felt like it was ok for slivers to have individual base powers and toughnesses, but maybe that would make sense, it's certainly more awesome :)
Nah, it's a Sliver Form of the Squirrel and I think it's a neat idea. I would make it legendary and call it Sliver Incarnation, maybe.
Eternity Sliver -> Incarnation Sliver
