Random mechanic I came up with after seeing the punch out tokens and reading Made in Abyss.
Notes:
-Much like Outpost Siege and the other Khans sieges, the choice you make is permanent for each object.
-Brawn option always puts +1/+1 counters on it, usually giving it a keyword.
-Cunning option usually gives a one-off effect, or gives an odd static effect.
Flavor is you choosing between one of two divergent evolutions to suit the situation.
I like it. There was a cycle of creatures that did this, right? But it wasn't given a term.
There was the Exarch cycle in New Phrexia Deceiver Exarch, and the Sandsteppe Outcast cycle in FRF. These designs are closer to the Sandsteppe cycle, though in the Outcast's case there was really only one mode you used 95% of the time.
