I'm not sure, but allowing it to trigger off of any enchantement slightly broadens its usefulness.

Only 3 of the 26 existing "enchant player/opponent" cards aren't curses, and only two of them have any utility enchanting an opponent. I feel like the flavor is more useful than the mechanical improvement.
