This card exiles its target so you can use the exiled land face down as a token.

Not sure if the token should be Wastes or just be a nameless land that taps for {c}.

Also not sure if I should add a nonbasic clause.

Nah; it's not killing their ramp, just their colour diversity. Mind you, it's pretty nasty as your 2-drop against a lot of decks.
