Not sure this needs to be a Hybrid

Neither looting nor "whenever a creature enters the battlefield" feel especially black to me (though if the effect were punishing, or it triggered off a creature going to the graveyard, it would)?

I agree, it originally said "whenever a creature.... Choose one - Draw a card and then discard a card OR that creature's controller loses 1 life."
but then it should've cost {u}{b} so I dropped the loss of life choice but didn't change it to monoblue which I have done now.
