Hm. It makes a 1/1 every turn for no ongoing cost except needing to be defended. Seems better than Nissa, Voice of Zendikar which only makes a 0/1 every turn, and she cost 3.

Alternatively, this card is 'free' on the first turn (play a different one cost creature with it), then puts two 1/1s on the battlefield for every turn after that. If your opponent doesn't have evasion or direct damage, that would be game in an otherwise balanced environment.

Yes, this does seem excessively strong.

Nice game with "Do I power up the number it produces, or produce now" but just a tiny bit too good for it. This concern probably goes away if it's a 3-drop; but maybe there's a way to depower it a bit without losing the 1-doprness of it.

Getting a tranquility effect on top of that is gravy, though at -5 seems basically unreachable unless Doubling Season is hanging around.

The one-drop aspect was a consequence of how I originally judged the abilities. Would {g}{g}{g} starting loyalty 2 and the +0 being changed to a -1 ability make it more manageable? Would {g}{g}{g} be too rough? Maybe just {1}{g}{g}?
