OK, this one needs some unpacking.

Red seems to get donate target permanent. I inferred it could also get donate target spell, as the one-off use of this.

Although I guess we have to pretend that's printable; it makes sense for lots of spells, but it's probably too broken with a few (like pacts).

However, if you cast this in response to an opponent's spell, and copy it, (I think??) you can use the copy to donate the original spell, which then forces the opponent to donate their spell, so it becomes "gain control of target spell".

It's another example like Peculiar Illusion where the same ability twice creates a much bigger effect :)
