My only question is, shouldn't this probably be bumped up to uncommon? Except in the case of really big fliers, this effectively is "destroy target creature with flying". Wing Snare does that as an uncommon for 3 mana. Correct me if I'm off about the precedent for just how cost-effective green damage vs flying can be at common. Though, if Aerial Volley can deal 3 damage divided as you choose to any number of fliers for 1 green at common, maybe this is acceptable too.

There are literally green instants that straight up kill fliers at common, the question isn't whether we should bump it up to uncommon but if we should replace it with one of those; Plummet, Clip Wings

Change it to Plummet, there is no reason to make an almost strictly worse version of it. You could also make it a version of Aerial Volley by splitting up the damage, which may be too strong for a Common though.

I mean they make strictly worse versions of cards at times, Shredding Winds was made after Plummet. But like I said I'm fine with changing it to Plummet unless there's a real reason to keep it as this.

Is this an answer to anything the set has at common? Otherwise maybe put this up in rarity and use the slot for something else.

There is an uncommon already I made, Swirling Gale that does mass damage to fliers based on Discovery. So if this is moved to uncommon it'd be competing with that. Also, based on what was pointed out to me earlier in the comments (I originally thought it was OP but was corrected), this is fine as a common, so pushing it to uncommon would seem to make it a weak uncommon.

I agree though that this doesn't specifically address anything within the set.

Skyborn Djinn has been brought up a decent number of times as possibly being pretty strong. Having an answer to that plus a few other cards (Heatproof Hawk, Windcaller Sprite) at common make it seem ok to me. Decent sideboard card against fliers in limited.
