For the
cycling archetype. Think it seems balanced because of the high cycling cost. Might want a different card for this slot though, one that does stuff when you cycle apart from let you cycle more.
Why would you ever cast this normally? All you get is a 1/1 you can conditionally repeat cast for three. I'm not a fan of the design generally, if feels like a combo card, not a key limited card, but I'd rather it be a 2/1 or something.
making it a 2/1 seems fine. Could keep it as a 1/1 and make it return to the battlefield? That does seem to be pushing rare though. or change it to just
? Something along those lines
Changed to return to the battlefield instead of the hand. Power +1.
Added begining of next end step.
Corrected wording- 'if ~ is in your graveyard' was unnecessary, removed comma between the effect and the condition.
Corrected wording- left out 'from your graveyard'
It is a combo card, reminds me of that combination of Astral Slide and Eternal Dragon, just in one card.
Added to skeleton
Imps should fly. Devil?
added preliminary name for easier recognition; Imp => Devil
I'm not understanding why you'd want to pay 4 mana to cycle this to no special benefit. I do get that cycling it puts it in a position to trigger the ability. It just seems a little odd at first glance why you'd want to pay 4 to cycle it. A bit of a counter intuitive card.
I think I was worried that it would be too easy to get into the graveyard and get a 'free' creature if the cycling cost was low. But looking back on it now, its cycling could cost
.
Was also thinking of giving it flying, which was why it was an Imp originally, but thought that would be pushing it a bit.
