Weird history.
Weird card.
I think a big thing about 'weird cards' is that they need to not be totally weird within the context of the set. (Or rares I guess). I'm not quite sure what this is doing for us.
Resonance. That said, it would be good if this were more relevant to the set.
Are there other cards that make these tokens? Can they be black? Do people like this "if you weren't attacked" thing? It feels annoyingly swingy. If you are on the play and your opponent doesn't have a fast start they need to wait till they get evasion or removal and by then you got tons of value. What if the snakes can't block? What if this cost more and had deathtouch? If it cost more you have to make some decision to lead to a situation where they can't attack. As a 2-drop you just have to get a little lucky.
We can't afford these tokens, I'm pretty sure. Also the first ability isn't in color for black.
I don't believe there's precedent for "prevent all damage from sources with deathtouch" and I see no reason it couldn't be black.
Not married to this execution, but we want to try to make a snake charmer for the indian-inspired set.
This card is a mess. Removing from skeleton

I don't get the flavour of the tokens. Just "Prevent all damage that would be dealt to X by a source with deathtouch" seems v good Snake Charmer flavour.
Although I admit, other than flavour it doesn't do a lot. I guess it could serve if there's a need for a mostly-vanilla creature.
I agree it could be any colour, but G or W feel most natural to me.
Can we just flavor it as "enemy creature are like snakes"? We could have a red snake charmer that can force things to attack or make them unable to block. If you want to prevent things from attacking, it could be white or blue or maybe black but that is a stretch.
