Glimmerdust Nap + Fractured Loyalty for the canister deck. I wanted to make the cost splashable in case some Sac deck wants it, but that isn't important. This idea started closer to Control Magic + Claustrophobia but I was afraid it would be too good on passive abilities without needing support.
This could be a fun rare.
They don't get to untap it too? What's the point?
Agreed. Should untap on targeting. Existence of Canisters not enough.

I think often the point is to keep something tapped down like a weaker Claustrophobia. Act of Treason, canisters, and sacrifice all have ways to use tapped creatures. It is extra good if you can steal it and then sacrifice the aura. If we make it untap whenever it is targeted we would need to keep an eye out for infinite combos. It would be a lot better with combat tricks and could see play in prowess decks. I like it without that but you can add it if you think it is needed. 2U->3U
I hadn't thought of the untapping enabling combos. Perhaps you're right.
There needs to be an intentional connection between the two abilities. Either ditch one, or connect them, so the card makes sense to readers.
I'm not a fan of this either, gotta say.
