The 'non-artifact' part is very clever. I like this a lot, and I like it more than Magnetic Dampening, since it can support itself. However, it's dangerous; compare to Spellstutter Sprite. This is a lot more powerful since it supports all artifacts, not just Faeries.

Changed wording so that it determines if you have enough artifacts on resolution, not cast, so that it can use the thopter. This also means you can cast it against a big spell if you just want a thopter.

It's at worst a cancel on a 1/1 flying token, and that will be rare. It's not breaking anything.

It costs {1} more than Spellstutter Sprite for a reason. (Also note that you can't cast this without a target, unlike Sprite.)

Even in my few constructed play tests, Magnetic Dampening seemed really hard to actually pull off. It is more exciting for modern purposes, but in the vacuum of Tesla Standard/Limited, I think I prefer this.

That said, it compares oddly to Repurpose having two 3 mana Counterspells, and I much prefer Repurpose.

Agreed there... could this make two Thopters and cost more?
