Because I find the concept of some flying artificer that crashes if they put on too much weight REALLY funny.
This seems very unintuitive/weird as a common to me.
The more sensible common would gain flying on noncreature cast.
Yeh I don't think punishing the prowess at common is a good way to signal the archetype at common.
Would this be better as a 2/3 so that the second line of text is more relevant?
That just makes the issue worse....
Yeah, I thought I said this earlier, but this is far too harsh for a common - and in fact, I think it's too un-fun to be printed, honestly. The first line excites a player, the second line begins to excite them, then crushes their hopes.
