casting this on turn 2 says "if you have a removal spell, you win. if you don't, i win". not the most engaging game to be playing
How are you casting this turn two? You need at least four mana sources to play it (Two green mana, then two untapped lands)
lol whoops
That said, 98% of the time, this is a 6/6 trampler for (you might control two Forests and an artifact that taps to add . It should be a rare event in Green, though.) Compared to, say, Woodland Wanderer or Surrak, the Hunt Caller, that seems a little excessive to me. Admittedly, it is hard to know what a good cost for a French Vanilla rare should be, and maybe my radar is off. :S
Come to think of it, could it be templated as costing 2GG and returning any two lands? That might be easier to parse. And it makes clear there's a drawback, so that might be a fair cost, if possibly quite swingy?
seems like a readability improvement with no functional change
Fair enough. Also made it specify forests to make it slightly harder to cast, depending on the mana base.
looks good. changing land to a specific basic is an undervalued way to tweak a cards power
