This occurred to me after seeing a "cast from graveyard" ability. Originally this was "you may cast from graveyard for [COST], exile if damage > X" but then I realised I could avoid exile by having it bounce to hand. OTOH, if it went via graveyard there'd be another cost to tweak.

I'm not sure how it would play. The idea was, something like regenerate or black's "return from graveyard" cards, but could be a bit cheaper because every deck had a built-in way of dealing with them permanently.
