Meh. I'm not a fan of easy to hit, non-explosive ultimates. Why not increase the cost of the ultimate some, and remove the need to exile? Life equal to the power of my creatures can be spectacular... but it already comes with the Epic Struggle conundrum. If you have enough creatures for it to be a phenomenal ability, you would probably rather cast Skyshaper anyway.
