Niche card, but there are enough tokens about in this set where our might actually be useful. Or at least look useful.

Feels like it should either cantrip or have a choose one option to remove a counter from a permanent (A black ability that sometimes gets paired with token removal, i.e. Aether Snap). You wouldn't even need to change the name of the card for that second option, come to think of it.

I don't like removing counters from permanents in this set. Counters are really the only reminder that a creature has become renowned. In other sets, sure.

Oh, right. Forgot Renowned was in this set. Cantrip, then.

Though now I want there to be a black card that says "Remove all counters from target creature. If it was renowned, it's no longer Renowned." Probably a reason that isn't feasible, though.

Adding to skeleton

Soooo narrow :(

Is this worth having in the skeleton?

It's a cool effect that people (or at least I) would love to have exist at all. Granted it's not particularly useful, but can be in this environment. This is also worse now that GW shifted to counters from tokens.

If black gets too strong in draft we could always use this as a check valve. I'd be open to shifting this

Unskeleton'd, didn't do enough work
