Originally had an equip cost of
and placed a counter upon becoming equipped, but then I remembered that Kazuul's Toll Collector was a thing that existed.
You'd need two of them out before you'd get the infinite combo. And once you're asking for 2 of 4 specific cards, plus another specific card, that's the level of contrivance Wizards are fine with. I don't think the extra words are worth it.
(Puresteel Paladin did something similar, but still, 2 of 8 from different blocks and colours is also quite an achievement.)
Fair point. While it does become slightly less flexible, the old version is probably better overall. Reverted.
