My attempt at a Dredge card that isn't OP but is still playable. Wasn't sure whether it could be instant or not, so I erred on the side of caution.
Looks good. Probably a bit too good; dredge wasn't just problematic for being overpowered in older formats, but also for leading to repetitive game states. If I'm playing almost any deck that uses creatures, and you cast this with 5 cards already in your graveyard, I know I'm in for a rather unpleasant next few turns.
Hrm. Good point. For some reason I'd forgotten about the "repetitive game-state problem, which does make Dredge undesirable as a mechanic.
Well, I can't delete cards here, so I'll turn it into something new instead. Just give me a moment...
There we go. Here's a rather ridiculous idea I had a while back. Breaks NWO by being confusing for new players, but doesn't break the pie, surprisingly enough. Those keywords will be in-color for any combination of mana you use to cast it. Normally I wouldn't post a design like this, but it was the only thing I could come up with on short notice.
Well, NWO doesn't care about this because it's rare. It is kinda silly though :)
Hm, I'd forgotten the card creator can't delete cards from public sets. If there's anything you really want deleted you can always ask me to do it.
