Oh, nice. Another take on "Fragile Clone", like Phantasmal Image. This could plausibly be 2 mana, given Phyrexian Metamorph and Gigantoplasm have obsoleted Clone already, and this is two colours.

I wonder if this could be mono-red? Cf Heat Shimmer.

I like this take on this idea. My version, Fleeting Mirage, is exactly a creature version of Heat Shimmer, but I think as a (u)(r) variant this makes more sense.

I don't know if the cycle of multicolor clones is just in my head or not, but I think we've now got every color but {u} {w} . Hopefully Wizards brings me completion soon.

@Alex: I think the fact that it can target something in a graveyard as well as on the battlefield justifies a CMC of at least 3.
