Reminder that this was printed back when mana burn was still a thing. This card is now really good at ramping.

I wonder how mana burn would be templated nowadays. Maybe "Whenever mana empties from your mana pool, you lose 1 life for each mana emptied this way." I think you should have the mana burn ability be separate from the mana production ability for clarity. Also, I'm not saying Black Market is too powerful as-is; I'm just warning you that it is powerful.
