It is rather similar. This is a bit like Spark Elemental in some ways, as well. I wonder if it could be uncommon.

The cantrip makes it quite a lot better. The comparison with Elvish Visionary is interesting. (Obviously Dark Confidant is the inspiration, presumably?)
