Common? To get double Befoul for just one more mana? At instant speed?
It's also outright red creature destruction, which is a no-no.
Well that's also true, but that was true of the original Fissure, and I think LivesByProxy has made it clear that they don't care about colour pie issues.
I could see this being a modal spell, with the main phase perk being "choose both" (see Into the Maw of Hell, from the era of LD-in-name-only), but going after two of the same type is a much bigger swing and even 5 mana doesn't capture that kind of value.
