Wow, those are some silly names :)

OK, this is the best mashup I have so far. I wish I'd found a way of making the effect repeatable like chaos harlequin, but repeated discard is usually just too strong to be interesting.

I don't normally like "discard at random", but it works for both players here: the opponent doesn't have to make a difficult choice if they have an expensive spell they can't cast, and you don't have to risk the opponent automatically discarding a land.

The real creature type would not be "clown", but I think magic could do with some standard type for clowns, jesters, revellers, etc.
