Is someone trying to mock the generator?

You know, I could see us liking an Islands version of this card in the community set.

mock the what?

Also this serves as three things

a) fast lands
b) searchable lands
c) "global enchantment" lands.

This automatically fixes your mana (and your enemy's mana) as long as they have a counter on it.

t1 - play W land
t2 - play W land, place a warp counter on one of the w lands
t3 - play G land, suddenly you can tap for WWG or WGG
t4 - play U land, suddenly you can tap for WWGU, WGGU, WUGU,
...

flavor-wise, it shows that the lands themselves are changing types and warping randomly and the chaos is spreading

the author of this site also created a magic card generator which is a) Awesome
and b) often generates somewhat, um, specific activation conditions.
and c) often generates questionable effects like "Target forest is a forest."

This card reads like those outputs; though it does have the advantage of actually doing something. Even if it's a costly something that you'd very rarely ever bother with, and does it in a fiddly way.

So yeah. It's useful if you want to have a forest-walk enabler. It combos with your other warp counter stuff. It's expensive to use as a mana fixer for when you need {g}{g}; but the option is there. And it's a real forest, so it's much easier to search for.

and d) I made the flavour-text portion of the generator.

I can make it 1,t: instead of C,t: , but this seems a bit too powerful.

The great thing is that since it comes in untapped, it's good for aggro fast strategies, and since it fixes colours, it's good for slow control/midrange strategies.

Also if an opponent has any of these lands, you automatically get that mana fixed, so crazy good in mirror matchups =P unintended consequences.

Right now I'm looking at the archetypes being:

WRB Shabti aggro

BUG/Esper control

Junk/Jund Catalyze/Mid-range

RDW/Rakdos Aggro

America/Izzet tempo

W/B blink tech

WG/Naya counter blitz

(with the introduction of finality in the last set, a RUG storm/combo deck may work)

And of course, 5-colour good stuff.
