Sorry for the Mythic when it's totally not time for those yet. I didn't want to forget the idea

Third color; p/t

I wonder if, since every other Are card is two colors, if the rare and mythic rare cards should be more.

I think the current skeleton is about right: 1-to-2 {w}{u}, 1 {w}{b}, 1 {w}{u}{b}, for a total of 15-20 rares. For mythics, the skeleton currently has the mythics allocated one to each monocolour and 10 to Aer - five allied and five "other" (enemy/arc/wedge). I don't know if we might want to make that two in each monocolour and 5 in Aer though.

As for the card... Is it meant to be "this turn"? It's not, right? So... I effectively give up one card-draw, and from then on, each card drawn comes with... a loot? (I draw two, then put one back in order to get the same on my next turn.)

Oops, it was meant to increase the number of cards you draw later. Didn't figure that right.

Was "you may put a card from your hand on the bottom of your library. If you do, the next time you would draw a card, draw three cards instead."

Wouldn't it now be probable for the opponents to simply ignore the trigger and leave you with a French vanilla 3/8?

Three colour rares/mythics seems a good idea for Aer. The updated skeleton looks good to me.

I like the university flavour. I feel like university isn't quite right -- I want something like chapels of learning or astronomy/astrology towers, or east asian nobility confidently transferring their knowledge of art and literature and board games into warfare. But I'm not sure quite what.

I like this concept as a mythic. I think it's fine to suggest mythics at this point -- even if we don't want to concentrate on them yet, it's very useful to see what awesome cards can go in the set, and what ideas common and uncommon can work towards.

I'm not sure exactly how the design would work best. I was thinking of something like Consecrated Sphinx that basically gives you enlighten but much more. "Whenever you draw one or more cards, draw that many plus one instead"? "Whenever an opponent does [something], draw a card"?

Or, the current ability is a good way to get nice card advantage whenever you enlighten, but I don't like exactly how it's worded. "Each opponent may" means this is essentially a downside mechanic -- it's worse than if it didn't have the ability at all, except when you can rely on your opponent making a mistake. For a mythic, I'd rather something that was straight-up positive -- giving a card in a graveyard flashback might be reasonable.

Fixtually redesigned it with my group hug EDH deck in mind. It's rather niche. I thought about increasing the opponent's draw to two to make them more likely to use it. Or something else, I don't know. Possibly my original suggestion, or something new.
"University president" is just a placeholder name until I find a more appropriate name with similar flavor.

I don't really think increasing the card draw 'fixes' the card. It's still a 3/8 flying, hexproof with a downside for 6, no matter how much candy you pass out.

I do like the thought process. I would almost never let you have that card, btw, group hug or not... I'd probably just stew about how other people are letting you win... but I also know that not all players play like I do. I figure it's best you got this idea out early. People will need to let get comfortable with this card for it to make it through.

That said, I think it's rare, not mythic. I don't like drawbacks on my mythics... they should be all ups (with the occasional gigantic explosion that could go either way.)
