Mashup of For the Emperor! + Energy Bolt

For the Emperor had the interesting mechanic, so I decided Energy Bolt meant a card that had a choice between that mechanic and the reverse. But I decided it was too hard to make a modal spell where both halves were worth playing, a creature was more fun.

This uses the "can block creatures as though they had no abilities" tech which has shown up on a few fan cards.

Although, now I think of it, that could be confusing with a spell that says "target creature can't be blocked this turn", since that would (I think) still apply, as it's not an ability of the creature. Is there any better way?

I hesitated over colour. I decided "can block as though they had no abilities" is white. The other half could have been provoke, but now provoke usually wants to be fight, and any other variant seemed too wordy, so I went with the simpler "unblockable" which is a reasonable inverse of the other ability.

Unblockable is blue, and blue seemed a good second choice for "can block as though", and the "blocking flying/unblockable/shadow creatures by magic" felt more natural as a W/U spirit than a giant GW monstrosity, so I went with WU. It could nearly be just U, but I think WU is clearer. It's strange to see WU without flying, but this can do both halves of flying :)

Ha! Yes, this does manage to sideways obsolete Talon Trooper, doesn't it? Somewhat sneakily :)
