Kinda just made this up, make of it what you will.

Starting as a 1/1 makes it kinda underwhelming. Maybe change it to each upkeep?

Yeah, this is pretty underwhelming compared to Rushwood Elemental.

The reason it starts out small is that this is a modular creature, so the extra counters don't just make this bigger but also add to the counter pool for all artifact creatures.

Basically, I fear that with so many modular creatures we're going to reach a critical mass where it's impossible to deal with them.

Wait this has trample? Ok it's fine as it is, Modular + Trample is going to be a beast in this set. (I think XD)
