Look at this compared to Aphetto Alchemist. This seems a lot better.

Its an uncommon, right? Though 2/2 is really a bit much, how about 2/1 or 1/2? Or even just a plain 1/1.

Mmm, I think I agree this is currently a bit too efficient. A 2/2 flyer costs {2}{u} or {4} (Wind Drake, Millennial Gargoyle). It's allowed to have some benefits on top of that (Kathari Screecher, Nimbus Naiad etc; or Skinwing). I fear a 2/2 flyer for {u}{u} is a bit pushed though.

Even for the Wind Drake / Millennial Gargoyle cases, I think "sac to draw a card" is probably more benefit than you'd get without increasing the cost though. (As implied by Alchemist's Apprentice vs Fugitive Wizard.) See also Kingfisher, which works better in some cases worse in others, and was costed at {3}{u}.

I think this could cost {2/u}{2/u}{u} (or, if you wanted, {2/u}{2/u}{2/u}). If you want to keep it at its current cost though I'd agree it probably needs to drop to 1/2.

There's some precedent for CC uncommon value bears in other colors that don't/didn't get bears at all (Goblin Wardriver, Gatekeeper of Malakir), so I think this is an acceptable powerful uncommon (I agree I'd keep an eye on it in constructed, though). If you insist on toning it down, the best way would be to make the sacrifice ability less powerful (add a mana cost or make it loot) rather than fiddling with the mana cost, at least as a first try.

Blue gets stonking bears at {u}{u}, certainly. Izzet Guildmage, Grimoire Thief, Tidebinder Mage, and so on. But even with the power allowed on a 2/2 for {u}{u}, there's never been a 2/x flyer for 2 mana without a largish drawback. (In blue, that is. White, being the best colour at weenies rather than the worst, gets it with upside: Kor Aeronaut.)

I swear this card didn't used to have flying. I'm just going to drop it and everything should be fine.
