This card doesn't feel quite right on a number of levels. First it tells you to just mill your artifacts instead of discarding them or playing them, which goes against our Spellslingers, Modular and Componets. Second, the blue splinter group is suppose to be eccentric inventors ala Dr. Brown from Back to the future so the name doesn't really fit, the name feels more like a student in Brass City than a wild-eyed inventor. Finally, the card isn't good in the least. I know Maro says that you need bad cards for the good ones to shine but this is a little too weak for my taste. Could we replace it with something like this...

Eccentric Inventor {3}{u}
Creature - Human Artificer
When ~ enters the battlefield, look at the top three cards of your library. You may reveal any number artifact cards from among them and put them into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

I don't think we could agree less on this card, because I totally love it. It filters your draws, it can make useless artifacts relevant later in the game, and it helps put lands in graveyards for that deck. Actually having played with the card, I really enjoy it.

But with Spellslingers and Components later artifacts aren't useless or at least they shouldn't be. I can see how the filtering could be very useful but it still doesn't feel like it's part of the Blue Splinter, it feels more {u/w} Brass City artificer than frontier eccentric inventor.

Why does this card have to be part of the blue splinter?

Well it was in the skeleton slot for the blue splinter for most of the design process but more importantly if we don't have it be from the blue splinter, there isn't a representative for them at all in the set afaik.

TBH I'm not super concerned with that, but let's see what other people think.

Small note: the flavor text should have quotation marks around it.

The ability to mill yourself for U is quite good. I like this card.
