I'm a Vorthos, not a Melvin, but this card seems disjoint even with the great flavor.

I said it before on your other sift card - cheap sift means "Ok, I kinda want this in an early hand" and negates the only disadvantage.

Which means you can effectively build a 20 card deck. Which is probably a bad thing to let someone do.

Is the problem with sift, or with the cards I'm putting it on?

It's definitely a problem with sift. You might be able to rectify that by putting it on a different class of cards, but I'm not sure.

Heck, a 60-sift deck would be pretty bad. Perfect top-deck skills every turn? Ouch.
