A goblin artisans discussion asked how to get the feel of giant monsters battling in magic. The problem being, an 8/8 can't "nearly" block a 9/9, it's mostly no better than a 1/1.

Jay had several suggestions for a P/T which were unknown until later, but I thought the Mindshrieker ability would do nicely, most of the time not mattering if this blocks or is blocked by a smaller creature, but making a lot of tension if it attacks into another giant creature and both players have to decide when they should pump, and how many times, adding some tactical back-and-forth to even a single fight between two creatures. You could also keyword the ability.
