So easily castable on turn 4, without even really sacrificing anything? Ouch.

Heh, that flattens it nastily. No; I was thinking CMC5 was enough, and failing to count that actual black mana part of the casting cost :)
Turn 5 is still relatively scary; but not cripplingly so.
