Had the idea floating in my head for a while. Seems potentially overpowered, or did when I first considered it without a cost to the ability.

Hee. Curse of Echoes but for creatures.

If I had two copies of this spell, and I played a lot of group games, I'd give one to another player who played blue. That way, if both of us got our Mirror Masters out, we could go nuts, dropping an absurd amount of token creatures into play. Insane feedback, this one. I'd assume that would make a number of people smile, so I don't think it's a bad thing.

I was thinking this should say "nontoken". Perhaps with the {1}{u} cost it doesn't need it. Pretty scary for draw-go type decks: they leave all their mana up for this and counterspells, and then it's very hard to get ahead in board position again.

For a less mythic version, I might suggest "may pay {x}, where X is that creature's CMC". That'd probably be best paired with "nontoken". But on a mythic, I think it's better to get anything for just the 2 mana.
