Welcome back! Today we have a very annoying little card. It gets into fights, deals one damage and retreats to its owner's hand before the counter damage can be done. But what is its creature type, and what's its name?
Sidenote: This one was tricky to cost effectively and make it look right. I think if you really wanted to balance the card out, you'd probably make it a 1/3 or a 1/4. But then returning the card to your hand would seem like an odd option, because it would survive many fights already.
Originally, I planned to make this a 1/1 for
. But a Fog Cloud that could go on the attack with a cheap reset seemed kind of wrong. It might actually be the correct cost, though, since constantly replaying the card, even for one mana, might prove annoying.
Adding lifelink and increasing by
was my solution. I don't think it's quite there, though. Adding vigilance seems like I'm piling things on a bit thick. I don't know. Honestly, I'd rather just playtest this card and see how it worked, but that's not an option. Ah well.
You know what? This is the world's most messed up healer. It rushes in, stabs your enemy with a hypodermic and you feel better. Medicine doesn't work that way! Except, well, now it does. So I want to make this a Goblin Cleric. The first pure-white goblin; which Boros has already told us we're allowed to do.
Annoyingly; Goblin Chirurgeon is already taken. And this is probably too niche to use up a nice reprintable name like "Goblin healer".
So... I think Goblin Physician would be a good name.
