There's been nothing much like this since Scapegoat in portal. Are the comparisons I forgot? Are there good reasons to avoid cards like this, is it too narrow or too good against board sweep?

It's the sort of card I like designing but end up not playing with so the design is probably missing something -- probably that reactive cards are only occasionally useful and I shouldn't design too many of them.

Looks excellent when paired with board sweep. Attack with some guys, chump the big bit of the backswing, do this, next turn Wrath. It's somewhat situational, but could be good with blink type decks too.
