Was "Counter all spells and abilities that target the equipped creatures unless that creature's controller pays . Equipped creature gets +0/+2." But that "unless" part seems off. I changed that part to something that makes more sense to appear imo.
Huh, yes - "Hmm, shall I pay to allow you to killspell my creature? I think not". Though it does sort of work as a halfway house between hexproof and shroud. Still, making the opponent pay is almost certainly more what you intended - although this still makes you pay extra for buffs; which maybe isn't?
